In the year 1959-60 Late Swami Shambhavanandaji Maharaj, founder, President of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala, mooted the idea of forming a forum for regular interaction between the old boys and the alma mater.
In 1972, Rev.Swami Sureshanandaji Maharaj, the then Correspondent of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala gave a definite shape and direction to that idea and formed the Old Boys’ Association (OBA). Since then the association has been growing from strength to strength. In the year 1997, the association celebrated its Silver Jubilee. In the span of over 50 years, the association has proved to be a unique and reliable support base to the alma mater
