SWIMMING

The swimming pool, 33.33 mtrs X 14.7 mtrs, inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1957 is equipped with water purification and circulation plant and fiberglass diving boards. Swimming is compulsory for all the students and is taught by qualified and experienced instructors. The annual aquatic meet is held with due solemnity. Students take part in various external competitions also and win many prizes.

Physical culture is an integral part of education in Vidyashala. Particular attention is paid to the physical development of the students through athletics, games, sports, gymnastics, mass P.T., and swimming. Participation in physical training activities is a must for all students. Students participate in various sports and games events representing the institution / taluk / district / state / national and win many awards and prizes.
